Fixed-point photography
A simple way to record how your land changes, with help from the people who walk it.

How it works
Same spot, same direction, every time.
A post on site
A timber post with a phone rest and a QR code, set at a viewpoint that tells the story of your project.
Line up the view
Anyone walking past scans the code and lines up the same view on their phone.
Add the photo
They add their photo, agreeing for it to be used, and it joins the record for that post.
Why it is worth doing
Over the seasons each post builds a timelapse of change: scrub coming in, wetland filling, the grazing doing its work.
It gives you a record to share with funders, neighbours and your own team, and it gets the people who walk your land involved in its recovery.

Would you like it on your land?
I am developing this now and will offer it on client sites first. Register your interest and I will be in touch when it is ready.
